Riding Lessons

Every new rider starts with a private, one-hour evaluation lesson. You'll ride, meet our horses, and see how we teach — and we'll match you with the right instructor, class level, and schedule. It's the best way to make sure Aurum is a great fit before committing to a program.

Walk and trot independently, post the trot, and experience the canter

All of that, plus canter control and possibly begin jumping

Membership includes weekly mounted private or group lessons (3–4 riders of similar ability), unlimited access to our horsemanship classes, and invitations to special member events throughout the year. 3-month minimum.

One hour introduction/evaluation riding lesson

5 contacts per week, 20 per month.  This gives access to both lessons and training rides as well as all our horsemanship classes and tacking clinics

Membership in our riding school gives you access to two mounted lesson per week and one unmounted lesson per week, as well as tacking clinic for our newer riders.  Mounted lessons can be private, or group (when your instructor says you are ready!).  We also have many one off events that we invite members to throughout the year.  There is a 3 month minimum contract. (haul in lessons are charged at the same price as lessons on lesson horses)

We allow trailer ins for lessons when there are no infectious equine diseases active in Colorado.  We have two options, per time or unlimited per month (350/month). This gets. added on to the top of your contact if not stabled here
